BRANDON, Man. - A man in Brandon, Man., has been charged after he allegedly threatened to shoot his wife and son during an argument over attending marriage counselling.
Police say the alleged threat was made last Thursday and it was reported to them on Tuesday.
The apparent target of the man's anger was reluctant to pursue the matter, but the Crown directed police to proceed with charges.
A 32-year-old suspect was arrested in Wawanesa, southeast of Brandon.
He was to appear in court Thursday on two counts of uttering threats.
