A Manitoba man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a CN train collided with his truck north of Brandon.
CN said around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, a westbound company train hit a southbound pickup truck at Highway 270, east of Rivers, MB.
A 77-year-old man from Strathclair, Manitoba was the driver and lone occupant inside the vehicle.
He was taken to a local hospital by emergency services then transported to Winnipeg with serious injuries.
No update yet on the status of his condition. RCMP said alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
RCMP told CTV its file has been concluded, however, CN police are still investigating.
