News of the murders in downtown Winnipeg was hitting another family particularly hard.
Family members say Donald Hart went missing from that same area two men were killed in over the weekend.
Unable to focus on much else in the last few days, Hart’s sister Muriel Shorting was constantly on the Internet, checking social media to see if anyone has spotted her brother.
After her brother's story aired on CTV News, Hart made contact with his family.
His family said Hart is safe.
