A northern Manitoba girl died after being mauled by dogs. Thompson RCMP were called to Lac Brochet on Tuesday around 6:00 p.m.
Two large dogs of an unknown breed mauled the girl. The 10-year-old was rushed to the local nursing station, where she died.
Police have withheld her name.
They say a resident owned the pets, but the girl did not know them. Community members destroyed the dogs.
