A 30-year-old motorcyclist from Prince George, B.C. died following a crash with a pickup truck in Swan River, Man. on Aug. 31. RCMP said alcohol is considered a factor in the collision.

Swan River RCMP responded around 4:45 p.m. on Monday to the intersection of 4th Avenue and Main Street.

Police and emergency crews found the motorcyclist seriously injured.

He was rushed to hospital and later died from injuries. The driver of the pickup truck from Kelowna, B.C. was not injured.

An RCMP forensic reconstruction is helping with the investigation.
