No need to stress this Halloween about buying too much or too little candy.

Statistics Canada and CensusMapper have figured out where all the trick-or-treaters live in your neighbourhood and how many of them will show up at your door.

The census map breaks down the number of children from ages five to 14 by geographical area.

Lighter-coloured areas show you the places with a smaller population of children, and the darker-colored are the communities with a high volume of kids.

Not only is CensusMapper helping people determine how much candy to buy, they also have stats on haunted houses in the city – not homes that are decorated, but actual houses they believe are haunted.

The data CensusMapper uses comes from Stats Canada with info from "dwellings not occupied by usual residents", which Census determines means there is a possibility they could be haunted.

According to their data, 4.4 per cent of the homes in Winnipeg might be haunted.
