A young cyclist is recovering in hospital after an SUV hit her Monday afternoon.
The vehicle hit a child on a bicycle at Clouston Drive and Cambie Road in Kildonan Meadows.
She was rushed to hospital in critical condition as Winnipeg Police Service traffic investigators blocked off the scene.
Monday evening, police said she had improved to stable condition.
