Health Canada is recalling the children’s book as there is a possibility they are contaminated with mould.

That’s Not My Reindeer and That’s Not My Santa children’s books both feature tactile elements and are full-coloured with half die-cut pages.

Health Canada says that approximately 1500 units of That’s Not My Reindeer and 80 unites of That’s Not My Santa were sold to Canadians.

The recall is issued for books sold from July to November of 2015.

Health Canada says that neither them nor the publishers received any consumer incidents related to these products in Canada.

They said it was the manufacturer, Usborne Publishing, that received a customer report of mould found in cartons of a UK shipment.

The books were manufactured in China and distributed by HarperCollins Publishers.

More details about the recall can be found on Health Canada's website.
