Children's Museum says city funding cut may trigger price hike, programming drop

The Children's Museum says it might have to raise prices and cut programming.

The museum said it's facing a $30,000 funding cut from the City of Winnipeg.

It was not given a reason for the reduction in grant money.

A city committee referred the issue to the annual budget process.

Every year, a museum board makes recommendations to city council, prior to budget time, on how to spend the pot of money designated for Winnipeg's museums.
