A report to the mayor’s Executive Policy Committee is calling on better oversight and reporting to City Council about how the agency spends tax dollars.

The review was launched following a public spat between Mayor Brian Bowman and Centreventure over the former Carlton Inn property and the convention centre expansion.

The report also calls for better oversight between the city and other groups like the convention centre and the Assiniboine Park Conservancy.

Another report on the agenda is recommending a one-time grant of $600,000 for Centreventure’s operations.
