Manitobans can get a close-up look at where their food comes from during Open Farm Day on Sunday.

Now in its fifth year, the annual event shows Manitobans what life in Manitoba’s $5.3 billion agriculture industry is all about, Agriculture Minister Ron Kostyshyn said in a news release.

Visitors can check out 45 farms, employing more than 21,000 farm workers. They can learn about modern farming operations, meet producers and buy fresh produce.

Last year’s Open Farm Day drew more than 7,000 visitors. For more information, visit the Open Farm Day website.
