Winnipeg police and relatives of Christophur Baur, 36, called for help in finding him, after he was last seen on Jan. 3 in the area of Ellice Avenue and Wall Street.
Police have located his red 2007 Toyota Yaris in the 800 block of Manitoba Avenue.
He was last seen wearing black pants, black shoes and a black bomber-style jacket with a hood.
His family released a statement to CTV Winnipeg.
“We really would like to ask the public to come forward with any information that would help the police in their investigation,” said his family. “The police are working hard and will solve Chris's disappearance. Devastation has hit our family hard."
“This is totally out of character for him. He communicated two to three times a day with his family. Always caring, committed and willing to help anyone in need. Never sick from work. He has been torn from our lives leaving a gaping hole in our hearts,” said Baur’s family.
