One man is dead and three other people are injured after a minivan rolled in a ditch Thursday afternoon.

It happened on Provincial Road 384, about 32 km west of Moose Lake around 3:30 p.m., May 21.

Officers arrived on scene to find the van on its roof in a ditch on the south side of the roadway.

According to the RCMP, the van flipped more than one, ejecting two men in the process.

A 52-year-old man was killed and another 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

He remains in hospital in stable condition.

A 24-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were taken to hospital by a passerby before emergency crews arrived.

The man has been released from hospital and the woman is in stable condition.

All occupants were from Moose Lake.

RCMP said speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash and also believe at least two people weren’t wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The name of the deceased will not be released.
