A Winnipeg man was taken to hospital in unstable condition after a break-in at his home.
Police said the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. A man in his 40’s went to the garage at the rear of his property in the 100 block of Belmont Avenue because of a suspected break-in.
Officers said he confronted two male suspects who stabbed him a number of times. The suspects took off before police arrived.
The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition.
