The Town of Niverville is cleaning up after a storm system dumped buckets of rain on much of southern Manitoba on Friday.
People in Niverville spent the beginning of their long weekend drying out from Friday’s flash flood rainstorm.
The heavy rains also caused flooding in Steinbach.
Environment Canada says the cold front system moved through the region quickly, creating an unstable system with some areas receiving up to 100 mm of rain throughout the day.
