Police have no suspects in custody after they say a confrontation between two pairs of men ended in one man getting stabbed.

The 21-year-old victim and another man were walking in the area of William Avenue and Worth Street around 11:00 p.m. on Friday when two other men on bikes confronted them. Police say they got into an argument and the victim got stabbed in the upper body.

The two suspects fled the scene and police haven’t made any arrests.

Paramedics took the victim to hospital in unstable condition, but he has since been upgraded to stable.
