Winnipeg police officers likely saved the life of a baby who was not breathing.
On March 20, caregivers of a five-month-old boy, who was ill, noticed the child had stopped breathing. Family members began CPR and called for help.
Upon arrival, two officers performed chest compressions for a minute. The baby began to breath but remained unresponsive.
Medical personnel arrived shortly after officers and rushed the boy to hospital in critical condition.
The child was later upgraded to stable.
