The time of year has come again when drivers must pay attention to where they park their cars overnight. The city’s snow route parking ban comes into effect Monday at 2 a.m.

Vehicles won’t be allowed to park on designated streets between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Anyone parked on a designated snow route during that time will get a $100 ticket, which can be reduced to $50 if paid early. Vehicles may also be towed to the company’s compound.

The parking ban will remain in effect until March 1.

The city says people should check their streets for snow route signs, call 311, or use the online Address Lookup Tool.
