Winnipeg police have identified the victim in Friday’s homicide investigation.
Police responded to a report of shots being fired near the corner of Selkirk Avenue and Parr Street around 10 p.m. on Friday.
Officers said a man was suffering from a gunshot wound and was sent to hospital in critical condition.

Police said Trevor Bodnarek, also know as Trevor Desjarlais, 27, died from his injuries in hospital.
Members of the Homicide Unit are investigating.
