Police have arrested and charged one man in relation to the incidents of stolen phones on buses. They are still asking the public's help in locating the second man involved.

Kyle James Letandre, 23, of Winnipeg, has been charged with robbery and fail to comply with a probation order.

Police are still looking for a second man who was also allegedly involved in the two robberies that occurred on transit buses.

Police have issued a warrant of arrest for Walter Aaron Russell Bear, 20, of Winnipeg, for his alleged involvement.

Investigations are underway after police received the two reports of similar robberies that occurred on transit buses.

The first incident happened around 10:00 a.m. on a bus at Mountain Avenue and Arlington Street on July 27.

Police said the victim was sitting when two unknown men approached her from behind. One of the men grabbed her phone. Both men fled the scene. Police said the woman was not injured.

The second incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the same day. Police said a woman was sitting on a transit bus at Inkster Avenue and Arlington Street when an unknown man grabbed her phone from her hand and fled. She was also not injured.
