Spring-like temperatures are bringing some spring-like problems to Winnipeg.

The mixture of extreme cold and warm weather has caused a number of potholes to appear on city streets, with about 70 per cent more than there were last year at this time, according to the city.

Crews, which would normally be clearing snow, are now working around the clock filling potholes.

The city said the worst hit areas are around Pembina Highway and Route 90.
