A campaign by CAA Manitoba has found Winnipeg’s St. James Street the province’s worst road.

Of more than 5,000 votes cast by the public, nearly 900 picked St. James. Drivers also picked it as the worst road in 2012.

The complaints ranged from potholes to pedestrian safety and traffic congestion.

Rounding out the top three this year were 1st Street in Winkler and Ness Avenue in Winnipeg.

The month-long voting campaign recognized more than 500 roads across the province.

CAA will now review the data with all levels of government.

The full list of worst roads is available on CAA's website.
