A teenager faces armed robbery charges following a hold up at a liquor store on Main Street.

Police say a 16-year-old male, hiding his identity, walked into the store in the 1000 block of Main Street around 2.20 p.m. on Thursday. He pulled out a gun and robbed the place, taking merchandise and personal property from a customer.

Within minutes, police arrived and arrested the suspect on the bank of the Red River near the Redwood Bridge.

Police charged the teen with numerous firearms-related charges, including three counts of robbery with a firearm, and disguise with intent.
