Winnipeg police announced a pair of teenagers are facing a laundry list of charges, including attempted murder, in relation to a Dufferin Avenue shooting on February 24.

According to police, a group of men showed up at a house shortly after 1:30 a.m. and knocked on the door.

Police said a 19-year-old man who answered the door was shot in the upper-body and the group of men then ran from the house.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and was later upgraded to stable.

On February 28 at about 1:00 a.m., police arrested two suspects in the area of the 500-block of Selkirk Avenue.

19-year-old Aaron Chartrand is charged with attempted murder, disguise with intent, and a number of firearm and probation-related offences.

A 16-year-old boy is also charged with attempted murder, disguise with intent, and numerous firearm offenses.

Both suspects were remanded into custody and police say the investigation is ongoing.
