A man was chased down, stabbed and pepper-sprayed after trying to flee a robbery in the West End on Saturday, according to Police.
The 34-year-old victim was in the 700 block of Victor Street when two suspects confronted him and demanded his property.
The victim refused and ran away, but the two men ran after and caught up with him. He was stabbed in the lower body and pepper-sprayed.
The suspects ran away and the victim called 9-1-1. Paramedics took him to hospital in stable condition, later upgraded to stable.
Police found the two suspects in the area a short time later.
The two men, aged 26 and 28, are charged with aggravated assault and robbery.
