A truck driver died when two semi-trailers crashed on the Trans-Canada Highway near St. Francois Xavier early Sunday morning.

According to Headingley RCMP, a truck being driven by a 49-year-old man from Winnipeg jack-knifed while travelling west around 7:30 a.m.

That truck was then hit by another westbound semi being driven by a 24-year-old Montreal man.
