There was no horsing around at the 51st Manitoba Stampede in Morris.

The annual festival is the town’s largest event of the year, drawing in close to 25,000 people.

The stampede is Manitoba’s only pro-rodeo.

The festival includes a number of events including cattle herding, tie-down roping, and bull riding.

“From little kids to grandma and grandpa, there’s some part of the show for everyone," said Stampede President Tim Lewis. "A lot of the older generation brings the younger generation down and says, 'This is what we did on the farm,' or, 'These are the animals we had when we lived on the farm.'”
