RCMP said a motorcyclist has died after a crash on Sept. 23 in the RM of Rockwood.

RCMP and emergency crews were called to Road 10E, near the junction of Road 74N, shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday.

A minivan and motorcycle had collided.

The 41-year-old motorcyclist from the RM of Armstrong and his 43-year-old wife, who was a passenger, were sent to hospital in Stonewall before being transferred to Winnipeg.

On Tuesday, RCMP said they were advised the 41-year-old man had died from injuries.

His wife has been released from hospital.

The driver of the minivan did not require medical assistance, said police.

An early investigation showed the van was heading southbound on Road 10E when the driver pulled into a driveway to do a U-turn, and the motorcycle, which was also heading southbound, collided with the van, said RCMP.

Officers continue to investigate the crash.
