Slippery roads caused numerous crashes in and around Winnipeg Wednesday morning, including a crash at McPhillips Street and Templeton Avenue that sent one person to hospital.

Police said that crash happened just before 8 a.m. and one person was taken to hospital in unstable condition.

The crash appeared to involve a school bus that had no children in it.

The morning also saw crashes on Lagimodiere Boulevard near Bishop Grandin and at Pembina Highway and Bison Drive.

Two crashes were reported on Fermor Avenue, near Symington Road, as well.

A rollover was reported on the Perimeter, near Pipeline Road, on the north side of the city.

Two people were inside the vehicle. The driver got out OK and bystanders helped the passenger out.
