Nearly 600 previously vacant structures demolished or now occupied in Winnipeg

Hundreds of vacant and derelict buildings in Winnipeg have been torn down or fixed up.

A new report shows since 2010, 584 vacant structures have been demolished or occupied.

City hall began tracking the number of vacant homes in October 2010.

There are currently 358 buildings listed as vacant by the city.
