Winnipeg police have launched a new anti-gang campaign to educate people about the dangers of gangs and to encourage them to report illegal activity.

The campaign comes in partnership with the Manitoba government's Crime Prevention Branch and Winnipeg Crime Stoppers.

It features a new anti-gang poster promoting community involvement that will be placed in schools and other locations throughout the city.

Crime Stoppers will also be attending a gang awareness night tomorrow and police say they will be paying double rewards for information on gang members with guns.
