Some of the work related to Winnipeg’s next major housing development could be delayed.
Builders behind the Ridgewood South project in Charleswood are asking city council to allow for a one-year extension for them to submit their subdivision plans and rezoning applications to the Land Titles Office.
In a letter to city hall, Ridgewood West Land Corporation said it won’t be able to meet a June deadline because city officials were unable to provide a number of necessary documents on time.
Some preliminary construction has been done on the site between the Perimeter and Charleswood Road north of Wilkes.
