Brandon University has hired an experienced social worker to lead a new sexual violence prevention initiative.
Therapist and social worker Carla Navid has been chosen to fill the new sexual violence, education and prevention coordinator role on campus.
Navid will become a direct point of contact for Brandon University members when it comes to issues of sexual violence.
She brings extensive experience in supporting survivors of sexual and gender-based violence to the campus.
Navid will also guide response protocols and lead education and prevention efforts on sexual violence.
