Officers issue advisory over missing sex offender considered at high-risk to re-offend

Winnipeg police issued a public notice about a convicted sex offender who has gone missing.
Gabriel Joseph Koosees was released from prison on March 15 after serving a four-year, four-month sentence for sexual assault, said police.
According to officers, he has never completed any sex offender treatment and is considered at high risk to re-offend against any woman.
They ask anyone with information about Koosees' whereabouts to call them at 984-1888 during business hours, or after-hours at 470-7383.
He also previously was charged for assaulting a paramedic and police officer who were taking him to a hospital from Stony Mountain Institution, said police.
Winnipeg police said Gabriel Joseph Koosees was released from prison on March 15, 2012.
