CTV Winnipeg has learned police searched a second property linked to Andrea Giesbrecht, the woman accused of concealing the remains of six infants in a storage locker.

On Wednesday, police searched her home in The Maples in the first 100 block of Blechner Drive.

The second search took place at a property on Flora Avenue between Arlington and McGregor streets in the North End.

Neighbours said police first checked the property a few weeks ago and returned over the last couple of days.

The property on Flora belonged to Giesbrecht’s late parents.

No one currently lives at the home and it is boarded up. Neighbours said no one has lived in it for about a couple of years.

Prior to that, a family lived there for at least 10 years. It’s not believed Giesbrecht lived there, but she was seen coming to the home at least every month to collect rent.

Officers have released few details in the recent investigation.

Police did confirm they did not find any infant remains in the home in The Maples.

Officers previously said the remains of six infants were found in a storage locker on McPhillips Street on Oct. 20.
