Officers are looking for a man alleged to have committed an indecent act Monday afternoon.

Police said around 1 p.m., a woman was walking in the area of Clifton Street and Wolseley Avenue when an unknown man asked to pet her dog. The man then started speaking with the woman, and while doing so, committed an indecent act, said police.

Officers said the woman immediately turned away and the suspect ran away north on Clifton Street.

The suspect is described as aboriginal in appearance, five feet 11 inches (180 cm) tall, 170 pounds (77 kilograms) with a medium build, dark short hair and crooked teeth. He was wearing a brown hoodie with gold on the shoulder and black track pants with vertical white stripes.
