An old CN train car is ready to roll, for the right price.
A farmer from the Pine Falls area, Noel Chartier, is brokering the sale of the fully-functioning equipment. It is leftover from the paper mill in Pine Falls, which closed Sept. 2009.
Chartier has posted an ad on Kijiji for the train – the asking price is $25,000, plus the buyer must cover the costs to get the train on the tracks.
Chartier said if no one buys the train car, it will be sold for parts.
