Some people living in a Weston apartment building woke to fire alarms this morning. 

Emergency crews were called to a six storey building on Keewatin Street at just after 5 a.m.

They put out a blaze in a third floor suite.

One person was taken to hospital in stable condition and was treated for smoke inhalation.

No word yet on the cause of the fire or how much damage was caused.

Some residents were temporarily sheltered in city buses.

Residents have since been allowed to return to their homes.
