A shooting that sent two people to hospital in critical condition Saturday is now a homicide investigation after one of the victims died.
Theodoros Belayneh, 32, from Edmonton, Alta., was one of two men shot near the corner of Donald Street and Stradbrook Avenue around 3 a.m.
Police have not made any arrests in the incident.
The other victim has been upgraded to stable condition, police said.

Two vehicles -- a grey car with Alberta licence plates and a black SUV -- remained on scene hours after the shooting. The car had bullet holes in the front window.
