Parking officers in Winnipeg will not be getting a second set of eyes.
The city's innovation committee has turned down a request by the parking authority to outfit staff with cameras.
Councillors were hesitant to spend money on the technology right now, believing it could improve in the next couple of years.
The parking authority was seeking $210,000. It argues the cameras could clear up disputes faster and increase officer safety.
