The Pittsburgh Penguins snapped the Winnipeg Jets five game win streak Tuesday night after Pittsburgh scored twice on the power play in the final period to give them a 5-3 win.

The Penguins were missing captain Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and goaltender Marc Andre Fleury but the home team carried the pace through the first period. Winnipeg got goals from Adam Lowry, Chris Thorburn and Jacob Trouba.

Ondrej Pavelec made 25 saves in the loss.

The Jets road trip continues Thursday in Philadelphia.
