The Winnipeg Jets will try to even the series with Anaheim Ducks Saturday likely without Mathieu Perreault.

Perreault did take part in the morning skate, but head coach Paul Maurice said whether the centre plays remains a game time decision.

"Things are improving. We will see if I can get back in the next couple of games. It feels better everyday," Perreault told a media swarm after the morning skate.

"[Perreault] is a key to our power play and has been a great player for us this season," Drew Stafford added.

The Ducks will look to take a solid lead in the first round series with a win.

"We expect the Jets to push back hard tonight. They are a very good team," said Patrick Maroon.
