Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying “persons of interest” in the investigation into the killing of a 17-year-old boy in 2009.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on Dec. 3, 2009 a teen was stabbed while waiting for a bus at Main Street and Euclid Avenue.

He was rushed to hospital but died from injuries. The victim was identified as Jessie Jules Pierre McKenzie, 17.

An investigation showed a man had been arguing with a woman near the bus stop. Officers said the man then turned his attention towards McKenzie in an unprovoked attack and stabbed the teen.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and woman shown in photos.
