Pet owners got an opportunity to snap a portrait with their furry friends this weekend.
Winnipeggers showed up with dogs, cats and other creatures for the second annual A Portrait with Your Pet at Ace Art in the Exchange District.
People could choose between five different sets and themes as a backdrop for their pictures.
Professional photographers were behind the camera to create a keepsake photo.
"I don't have a camera, and I thought I would be treated like a VIP. And I'm not really a Santa person. I understand those are a bit of a gong show. and this sounded like a really nice opportunity to be treated like a queen with my dog," said pet owner Debbie Wall.
All the money raised goes to Ace Art Inc.a local group dedicated to contemporary art. Photos cost $40.
A Portrait with Your Pet continues Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
