Police have made two arrests after an attempted break-in and two fires in the North End early Thursday morning.

Emergency crews responded to reports of a garage fire in the 700 block of Flora Avenue just after 3 a.m. There was no car inside the garage when the flames broke out.

Initial estimates say it caused about $10,000 in damages.

The second fire was a couple blocks away. Two back yard sheds were involved and the fire caused visible damage to the siding of a nearby home.

Shortly after, police say they arrested two suspects who were trying to break into a business in the 1400 block of Arlington Street.
