A man is in custody after an incident in the 300 block of Edison Avenue Wednesday morning, Winnipeg police said.
Police had set up tape around an apartment block shortly after 9:30 a.m. Officers had also blocked off part of the street.
Police tweeted early Wednesday afternoon that the situation had been resolved peacefully, and that they had taken a male supect into custody.
There was no risk to the public, police said.
