Winnipeg police busted a marijuana grow operation at a residence on the northern edge of the city.
They seized 435 plants, dried marijuana, equipment and cash all worth more than half a million dollars.
Police executed a search warrant at the residence on Trieste Way on Wednesday. Around 4:30 p.m., they arrested a 39-year-old man in the area.
Police have charged him with producing marijuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possessing the proceeds of property obtained by crime. He was released on a promise to appear.
