An annual hockey game fundraiser between Winnipeg Police and the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service will help one of their own this year.
All the proceeds from the fourth annual Guns vs. Hoses charity hockey game will go to the Courage for Corey fund.
Winnipeg paramedic Corey Schroeder was involved in an explosion while he was off duty in September.
Schroeder will drop the puck at the charity game.
Hockey hall of famer, Doug Gilmour, and three Winnipeg jet legends are also taking part. Laurie Boschman, Ab McDonald, and Joe Daley will lace up for the event.
The puck drops at 7 pm Friday.
The public is welcome to watch.
