Police officers remained on scene Sunday one day after a “serious assault” on Stella Avenue.
Officers responded to a call about an assault in progress at 5 a.m. Saturday morning. They found a woman with serious injuries, who was taken to hospital.
Police tape could be seen around a home in the 500 block of Stella Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Investigators are still conducting interviews, and police expected officers to remain on scene into Saturday evening.
