Police released a composite sketch of a suspect in an attempted child abduction on Wednesday.

Police were called to the area of Arbuthnot Street and Warsaw Avenue around 9:00 a.m. An 11-year-old girl told officers a man grabbed her arm and tried to pull her down the street, but she was able to break free and run home.

Police describe the suspect as white, between 50 and 60 years old, short with a small build and a mole on his face. He wore a black jacket, blue jeans, a maroon toque with a pompom, and a scarf around his mouth.
